Vintage Kitchenware - Hazel Atlas Platonic Frost Glass Drizzle Bowl

| /

Vintage kitchenware Hazel Atlas Platonic Frost Glass White Gold Drizzle Bowl.

The Hazel Atlas Glass Company was created in 1902 by the merger of four earlier companies. The largest glass company in the United States from the 1930s until the 1950s, Hazel Atlas was a major producer of inexpensive ‘‘Depression Glass’’ table sets of pink, green, blue, colorless, and black glass.

The firm began experiencing financial difficulties in 1956 and sold to the Continental Can Co. In turn, Continental Can sold the glass business to the Brockway Glass Co. in 1965. Hazel Atlas is well sought after by collectors and rarer pieces can fetch significant dollars.
